CARLA — Coalition for Anti-Racist Literacy
2023 Anti-Racism Action at BMC—Join a Circle
The Anti-Racism Collective Circles (ARCCs) were created by the Coalition for Anti-Racist Literacy (CARLA) in 2022 to hold a space open to students, faculty, and staff to communally understand and practice anti-racism and provide concrete responses to acts of racism that occur on campus.
In 2023, two new fall circles will each engage in a series of five conversations, held every other week, starting the week of Sept. 25. You don’t have to commit to participating in all five conversations, however each session will build and enrich your experience, so please try to sign up for a time you can regularly attend. All levels of contribution are welcome! The Tuesday ARCC will meet at 3 p.m. on Zoom, and the Friday ARCC will meet at 9 a.m. in person.
Remember, even if you miss the first conversation, it is never too late to join a circle!
To get more information or sign up for an ARCC, email dgentry@c178.net with your preferred day as the Subject.
